Infraestruturas de Portugal announced on Tuesday that the contract for the construction of a roundabout in Loureira, at kilometer 80.650 of EN 101, was planned, with a three-month implementation period.
In a statement quoted by Lusa, Infraestruturas de Portugal emphasizes that this is an intervention designed to "promote the improvement of mobility and traffic conditions".
The contract has a total investment of 140 thousand euros.
It concerns traffic restrictions, in particular in terms of speed restriction on the spot and in particular by means of alternate traffic & # 39 ;.
The work provides for the reformulation of the catheter interception of EN 101 with EN 205, through the construction of a roundabout, resurfacing, application of galvanized and running lanes, adaptation and replacement of vertical and horizontal signaling, reformulation of drainage systems new collectors, sinks and respective boxes), construction of a wall with the characteristics of the existing and the "restoration of the affected services and reformulation of the electricity grid and existing public lighting".
Initially the work would start in March, but it did not happen.
