In July, TAP ranked seventh worst among 156 companies on the OAG list, with 47.1% on arrival in time and 1.7% cancellations on 12,535 flights.
In August, the Portuguese airline registered 51.4% of the arrivals without delay, 1.2% of the cancellations and a total of 12,551 flights, which translated to position 159 of the & # 39; ranking & # 39 ;.
Last month, SATA Internacional stood at the 158th overall position and SATA at 93rd, read on the table.
At the top of the ranking was the German Hahn Air, with 92% of punctuality in a record of 27 flights, while the worst ranked was Air Inuit (164th position), Canada, with a record of 43.3% arrivals without delays on 1,536 flights.
Since his office in February, Antonoaldo Neves has recognized the need to improve the punctuality of TAP, 50% owned by the state via Parpública, 45% by the Atlantic Gateway consortium (by Humberto Pedrosa and David Neeleman) and in 5% by the employees.
The TAP group booked a profit of 21.2 million euros last year, compared with a loss of 27.7 million in 2016.
