Braşov has implemented fewer than 10 Smart City projects, while Alba Iulia has reached 96

Most developed cities in Romania have implemented less than 10 smart solutions, according to an analysis by the Romanian Association for Smart City and Mobility (ARSCM), which notes that Alba Iulia occupies a free-standing position in the ranking of smart projects implemented with 96 projects , while three of the first five developed cities – Bucharest, Constanta and Brasov – have implemented fewer than 10 projects, and Craiova does not have a solution.
"Paradoxically, economic development does not guarantee an investment in Smart City solutions that can significantly improve the lives of large metropolitan residents.The ARSCM has identified large differences between communities with similar development Alba Iulia leads the ranking of implemented smart projects with 96 applications, while three of the first five developed cities – Bucharest, Constanta and Brasov – have implemented fewer than 10 projects and Craiova has no such solution "says ARMSM. Timişoara and Cluj-Napoca are the only cities with the exception of Alba Iulia, which have more than 10 ongoing Smart City projects: Timişoara – 19 projects and Cluj-Napoca – 11.
