The vacancy rate was 1.25% in the second quarter of this year, up 0.05 percentage points from the previous quarter.
In comparison with the same quarter of 2017, vacancy percentages fell by 0.08 percentage points and vacancy decreased by 2,700.
In the second quarter of 2018, the highest percentages of vacancies were recorded in other service activities (2.88%), public administration (2.59%), health care and social assistance (2, 05%). In the industry more than a quarter of the total number of vacancies (17,500 vacancies) concentrated and reached 1.46%.
"The budget sector accounted for approximately 27% of the total number of vacancies, 7,100 vacancies in the public administration, 6,900 vacancies in health care and social care, and 2,700 vacancies in education, respectively," according to the INS press release. AGERPRES said.

Compared with the previous quarter, the most relevant increases in vacancy rates were recorded in transport and storage activities (+0.25 percentage points), followed by production (+0.20 percentage points).

On the other hand, the main decreases in vacancy rates were recorded in the financial and insurance activities (-0.14 percentage points), respectively in the professional, scientific and technical (-0.10 percentage points), while the number of registered vacancies was the largest decrease trade-related activities (- 200 vacancies).
"Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the largest increase in vacancies was observed in transport and storage (+0.50 percentage points), respectively in other service activities (+0.43 percentage points).
With regard to the number of vacancies, the most significant increases in industry (+1 900 vacancies), respectively in transport and storage (+1 400 vacancies). On the other hand, with the most relevant decreases in both the number and number of vacancies, the public administration (respectively -1.39 percentage points and -3.6 thousand vacancies) was found, namely health and social assistance. Compared with the previous quarter, the most relevant increases in both the percentage and the number of vacancies were recorded in the occupations of unskilled workers – the most important group 9 (+0.16 percentage points and +1 200 vacancies respectively) and the operators by installations and machines; assembly of machines and equipment – main group 8 (+0.16 percentage points, +900 vacancies respectively).
According to NIS data, only occupations of specialists in different fields – large group 2 (-0.02 percentage points, or -100 vacancies) recorded a slight decrease in both the number and number of vacancies.
Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, both in terms of number and number of vacancies, there were more significant increases in the occupations of unskilled workers – the main group 9 (+0.16 percentage points, +1.000 places holidays respectively) and operators of installations and machines; assembly of machines and equipment – main group 8 (+0.10 percentage points, +600 vacancies respectively).
