The smartphone market in China is very competitive, with most domestic manufacturers offering advanced technology at lower prices than foreign companies. This does not mean that users do not want Apple or Samsung products, but only that the price difference is often not justified. But there seem to be many Apple fans in China, because Singles Day, a rebellion tradition similar to Black Friday, has managed to sell most phones, outperform leaders in this market and keep Samsung far behind.
The iPhones were first in China one day and overtook Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO and other local brands, which mostly dominate the sales and market graphs in the region. In comparison, Samsung only placed the eighth in the Singles Day discounts. We can therefore see that Apple could have a much larger market share than at present, at least in China, if the prices of its products were closer to the users' capabilities.
In total, Singles Day cuts earned $ 30.8 billion in sales in China. More than 237 brands each had sales of more than 100 million yuan (about $ 14.3 million), and Apple is one of these companies.
These sales are very good news for Apple, especially since the number of units sold has dropped in recent quarters, the company has dropped to second place in second place. The coming weeks are also expected to increase sales on Black Friday in Western countries, but often the discounts on Apple products are too low compared to the competition.
