The announcement about Sandero has now come

Dacia was hit unexpectedly, and Mioveni’s leaders must immediately rethink the strategy. The ad is related to the Sandero model.

2020 was a bad year for the auto industry, but not all manufacturers received similar shocks. For example, Dacia showed signs of recovery this fall, but the announcement about Sandero came a bit short. The data from Jato Dynamics has shown an unwanted premiere for the local manufacturer in recent years.

Dacia Sandero has disappeared from the Top 10 best-selling cars in Europe, and the drop in sales is somehow explainable. It’s all about changing generations, that is, liquidating dealer stocks before new models arrive.

Dacia Sandero is no longer in the top 10 of cars in Europe

Jato Dynamis’ analysis refers to car sales in Europe in October. And there are some pleasant surprises for some builders. However, the news is not good for Dacia. The Sandero is no longer in the top 10.

The local manufacturer hopes to recover with the new generation, which will hit the market next year.

As I said, other builders can perform much better. For example, Volkswagen got the news that the compact electric model VW ID.3, launched on the European market this year, for the first time surpassed the electric cars that already had a tradition on the continent in October. Including Tesla, that’s an achievement in itself.

Renault Zoe, Hyundai Kona or the more famous BMW i3 and Tesla Model 3 were surpassed by VW ID.3 with its launch on the market. After already on the podium of the best-selling cars last month, the VW electric compact now exceeded 10,000 units and established itself in the top spot.

For example, the best-selling electric cars in October were VW ID.3, Renault Zoe and Hyundai Kona, while the best-selling hybrid vehicles were Mercedes A Class, in the PHEV category, and Toyota Yaris, in the Hybrid and Mild category. Hybrid. The only hybrid produced in Romania, Ford Puma, registered a new increase, with a volume of more than 9,600 mild-hybrid engines, ranking fourth in Europe.

In total, Puma registered 14,430 units with the classic engines, the fifth best-selling SUV.
