The prospect of knowing the opinion of the Russians about pension reform is getting further and further away

The CPRF sent an official request to the Central Electoral Commission on the possibility and procedure for merging regional subgroups into one initiative group of the referendum, and recorded similar questions about raising the retirement age. Yury Afonin, a member of the State Duma of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, told Vedomosti.
According to him, the political decision to unite has not yet been taken, but such a perspective in the party is not excluded, because already in a dozen regions the Communist Party of the Russian Federation has refused to register subgroups of initiative. In all cases, it appeared that before the communists one of the competing groups managed to register the documents in the electoral code, Afonin said: as a rule they were discovered after the CPRF announced the subgroup meeting, but they were always the first – even if, as in Voronezh, had to be held at 6.45 in the morning. "We analyze the composition of these groups, in most cases they include members of" United Russia "or ONF, which they probably do not want to unite," the deputy says. According to him, the CPRF began to challenge the registration of such subgroups in courts, many of which had been made with clear violations. The CPRF expects to hold more than 70 sub-group meetings until October.
