The collision between the siloviki and the member of the bandits underground took place on the evening of September 1 between the villages Endiry and Toturbykala. On the offer to lay down their weapons and surrender, the bandit opened fire. He was destroyed on the spot by return fire, "- said the source of Interfax.
As a result of the incident, law enforcement officers were not harmed. According to the information from "Interfax", the killed militant was the leader of the banditry group "Kizilyurt" – the last to act on the territory of the Republic. According to preliminary information, he may be involved in a recent attack on police officers in the village of Toturbikala, causing two police officers to be wounded.
