More than 2,500 commandos were alerted in southern Russia in the framework of exercises – the army and the OPK

ROSTOV-ON-DON, August 20. / TASS /. Immediately three units of special units began exercises in the southern military district, more than 2,500 people were involved in maneuvers.

The head of the press service of the district, Vadim Astafyev, told journalists.

"More than 2,500 liaison officers, special purpose, deployed in the Rostov region, Stavropol Krai and in the Kuban, generated by alarm, followed by the nomination of the task area," he said.

According to him, the convoys in the march to the Kadamovsky (Rostov region) Nicholas Alexander (Stavropol Territory) and Molkino (Krasnodar Territory) processed the protection against weapons of mass destruction and used drones to explore the places of possible ambushes of a conditional enemy .

Now the special units have to transmit reconnaissance groups by helicopters with more than 500 km to perform tasks in the back of the conventional enemy in the provinces of North Ossetia, Chechnya, Dagestan and Crimea.

The units will have to identify the disguised command posts and transfer the data about their location to the artillery.
