The terrorist organization DAISH (the Arab name of the forbidden group in the Russian Federation "IGIL") in Syria receives weapons from outside. There are new indications for arms deliveries, including through semi-legal structures or even under the auspices of the special services of individual countries.
Such a statement was made Thursday by the permanent representative of Russia at the UN Vasily Nebenzia, reported RIA Novosti. He expressed the hope that this problem could be discussed in the context of the International Conference against Illegal Arms Trade, which will be held in Moscow on 3 and 4 September.
It is assumed that the frequency of terrorist attacks will increase, first of all in the direction of Idlib. The members of the institute go "all seriously", including teenagers and children, according to the diplomat.
Nebenzia also warned that because of the decline in the activity of the DIAA, its place in Syria could be occupied by another terrorist organization – Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia). The financing is from 20 to 40 million dollars a month. Now the group strengthens the ties with its offices in North Africa, tries to keep the local criminal activities under control and also invests in the agro-industrial companies in African countries.
Putting an end to the threat of terrorist organizations and related groups can only be "on a real collective basis", stressed the permanent representative.
It should be noted that, with the support of the Russian army, more than 1,400 settlements were released by terrorists in Syria, more than 96% of the areas were transferred to the control of government troops and militia units. Thanks to this, about one and a half million Syrian refugees could return to their homeland.
