Thousands of Muslims participated in the morning prayer in Kurban Bairam in Crimea

Simferopol, on August 21. Thousands of religious Muslims from Crimea participated in the morning party prayers dedicated to the feast day of Kurban Bairam.

This was told by the spokesman for the Spiritual Council of Muslims of the Crimean Zera Emir-Sween. It is noted that about three thousand Muslims – the most numerous namaz – were held in Simferopol. Namaz passed in the building of the House of Culture of Trade Unions. He was led by the Mufti of Crimea, the hajji Emirali Ablaev.

As RIA Novosti writes, the mufti congratulated those present on the Islamic holiday, and also called on believers for mutual respect and unity. Let us remember, the holiday of the sacrifice Kurban-bairam is one of the most important holidays of Muslims. It is celebrated by believers on the tenth day of the month Dhul-Hijjah of the Islamic lunar calendar and lasts for three days. Kurban-Bayram will start on 21 August in 2018.
