The flagship crossover’s engine range includes a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine. The power of the unit is 249 horsepower. You can also buy a car with a 200 hp 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine. Both units operate in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and HTRAC all-wheel drive with a Multi-Terrain Control option depending on the type of road surface.
In the basic version, the Palisade is equipped with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and lighting around the door. The driver has access to a blind spot monitoring system, a side collision warning system when reversing into a parking space, a rearview camera with dynamic markings and front and rear parking sensors. The car has a “floating” center console, a multimedia system with an 8-inch screen and 7 USB ports. Instead of the usual automatic transmission selector, the car got a push-button interface for selecting modes with the option of shifting with paddle shifters.
The Prestige package also received a digital dashboard, a navigation system with a 10.25-inch screen and a Harman Kardon audio system with 12 speakers, a wireless charger and a surround-view camera system also appeared in the cabin. The older version of High-Tech got a panoramic roof with sliding roof and a head-up display on the windscreen. The range of driver assistance systems includes automatic braking for an obstacle, adaptive cruise control with queue assistant, driver monitoring system and a function to recognize the presence of passengers in the rear row.
The top modification Cosmos got seats covered in nappa leather and suede. Customers can choose between a standard 8-seat version or a 7-seat version, where two separate seats with their own adjustment and ventilation system are installed in the second row.
