The army fell ill from the units of the Kiev garrison

The high risk of contamination of military personnel is related to the execution of missions and combat missions where people stay in places with large concentrations of people.

In Kiev, suspicious of chickenpox, six national guard soldiers were sent to the hospital. On this subject on Saturday 12 January, UNN reports with reference to the epidemiologist of the Northern Kyiv Territorial Administration of the NSU Senior Lieutenant of Medical Service Lesia Kuprienko.

"To date, six soldiers from the military units of the Kiev garrison have been found and sent to medical institutions with suspected chickenpox," she said.

According to Kupriyenko, a high risk of contamination of military personnel is related to the execution of missions and combat missions where people stay in places of large concentrations, for example during public events or for the benefit of public order.

According to Kuprienko, the epidemiological situation is still stable and controlled, and preventative measures are taken, taking into account the mechanism of transmission in the air of this infection.

Earlier on the Yavoriv test site in the Lviv region about 200 soldiers were ill with measles. During the outbreak of the disease, predominantly young recruits suffered in the armed forces of Ukraine – cadets and reservists.
