Disputes caused a 2.7-liter engine, which many considered too weak.
It is no secret that the main purpose of installing HBO on a car is to save on fuel. However, if it's not bad for some cars, the consequences of using gas can be deadly for others.
One of the drivers in the social network "VKontakte" asked the board of "pradovodov" what HBO can install better on the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 120 with a 2.7-liter engine. He was interested in the equipment manufacturer, the characteristics of the gearbox, injectors and the flexibility of setting up the computer. However, many users found the transfer to Pradika gas with such an engine a bad idea and discussed its feasibility in the comments.
One of the owners of the Toyota LC Prado wrote that he ran on gas himself, but he had a 4-liter engine and with a 2.7-liter engine he was not worth the risk: "It's weak for HBO." Another motorist told how his friend destroyed the engine: "I put gas as a saving. The officials, all as expected. Six months later white smoke poured in, three months later – black. Engine killed. Some netizens believe it is better not to install HBO because it "kills" the engine, which is already too weak for a 2-tonne SUV: "If you can't feed a horse, sell it!".
However, there were people who successfully exploited the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado gas. One of them wrote that he set up his "Pradik" with a 2.7-liter HBO LPG Tech engine of the fourth generation.
"Everything works well, there were no problems for 30,000 mileage," says the motorist. There were a few positive reviews from the owners of the Pradikov with the RX300, STAG and BRC HBO – motorists are quite happy with their off-road vehicles.
If the owner of the Toyota LC Prado still decides to install HBO, users are advised to find good equipment with a large number of settings and the ability to forcefully start the gas – something suddenly happens with the fuel pump.
