The Public Transportation Authority (PTA) on Sunday warned teachers of off-road vehicles that do not have a back seat.

"This type of vehicle puts the lives of teachers at risk, indicating that safety levels at VANAT are so low that they are minimal," the agency said in a statement.

The TRA called on the teachers to ensure the use of safe and licensed means of transport according to the requirements and regulations of the body known to all recognized carriers, including the obligation not to modify the vehicle so as not to endanger their lives.
