Oppo will continue to showcase its innovations to the general public at its annual event, which is called Oppo Inno Day, and the 2020 edition of this event is scheduled for November 17 in Shenzhen, China. Oppo uses this event to showcase its latest innovations in the mobile field. Last year, the Chinese company showed a front camera placed below the screen, an augmented reality helmet and a 5G router.
According to the latest leak from the prominent Chinese Digital Chat Station, in this year’s version of this event we will see a prototype folding phone inside, the second generation of the front camera integrated under the screen, as well as a new camera and the latest developments in the field of fast charging technology. Oppo is said to present a new telecamera based on the periscope principle, with a resolution of 32 megapixels and a focal length between 85mm and 135mm. This camera was originally introduced last August and was touted as a 3.3 x 5.2 x hybrid optical zoom, approximately 11 x hybrid and digital zoom up to 100 x.
Regarding fast charging technology, we expect Oppo to reveal the latest changes it has made to 125W fast wired charging technology and 65W fast wireless charging. It is not yet known when Oppo will use these fast-charging technologies in its commercial smartphones, but we hope the company will reveal more details to us on November 17.
