As part of the Geneva Motor Show, Audi presents four new plug-in hybrid models: electrified versions of the A6, A7, A8 and Q5. This line of models has been named "TFSI e" by the manufacturer of Ingolstadt, with the aim of reserving the designation E-Tron for fully electric vehicles.
Generally, the plug-in hybrid models mentioned above will be able to drive up to 40 kilometers in 100% electric mode, thanks to a 14.1 kWh battery.
The A6, A7 and Q5 models offer two plug-in hybrid versions, a "comfort" version, the 50 TFSI e, which is aimed at people looking for a more comfortable ride, and a "performance" – variant, the 55 TFSI model. that meets the needs of those who are looking for a more lively drive.
The more compliant model will be equipped with an electric motor integrated into the double-clutch transmission, while the performance variants will be equipped with the same technology, but will also include sport properties of the "S-line", such as, in particular, a sports suspension. , red stirrups and distinctive style elements.
