Representatives of the municipality of Ruma signed a contract with which the government of the Republic of Serbia assists this project and the total value of these works, which should be completed by the end of 2018, will amount to approximately 100,000,000.00 dinars.
Prior to the arrival of a French investor or Hutchinson plant in the industrial zone in Ruma in the negotiations with the municipal authorities, the construction of waste water treatment plants was agreed and the contractors started today with the execution of the project.
The flow of works was visited by the mayor of the municipality, Slađan Mančić.
Thanks to the funds of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, environmental protection will be raised to the highest possible level and after the construction of the air purifier the same will be available for other factories in this zone.
The mayor used the opportunity to recall the importance of attracting investors to the Romanian community, as evidenced by the activities of the Hutchinson plant, which currently employs 1,200 people.
