DOMESTIC MINT OF PEOPLE BY VIKEND: Euro 118.02 today news



The euro today maintained approximately the same value in terms of the euro as on Friday, and the official middle exchange rate is 118,0203 dinar for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced.

On Friday, the euro was worth 118.0313 dinar, while the National Bank of Serbia intervened in the purchase of 10 million euros to limit the excessive daily fluctuation of the exchange rate. Compared to the euro, the dinar rose 1.1% as a year ago, has the same value as a month ago and 0.4% is stronger than at the beginning of the year. This year the dinar was the weakest on January 5, when one euro cost 119,0027 dinar, and the strongest on March 2, when the euro cost 118,0084 dinar.

To limit the daily changes in the exchange rate, the NBS sold 180 million euros this year on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market and bought one billion and 740 million euros.
