Vesic: A part of Strahinjića Bana Street becomes a pedestrian zone



BELGRADE – Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, said that work on the reconstruction of Strahinjića Bana Street starting today and that the street will be reconstructed and transformed into a pedestrian zone for part of the French to the Bajlonijev trg, or to the entrance from Skadarlija.

"The works will last until October 20, while the opening of the new pedestrian zone is planned for the 74th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade from fascism and the centenary of the liberation of the city in the First World War," said Vesic.
