EU enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Serbian President Aleksadnar Vucic are opening a new Zezelj bridge for road transport at Novi Sad today.

The European Commission estimates that the Zezelj bridge is an important link between a trans-European network that enables better navigation along the Danube, restores road and rail transport and adds new dynamism to regional cooperation.
"The support for this project demonstrates the commitment of the EU's connectivity agenda, which aims to develop transport, energy and digital links between the Western Balkans and the EU", says the European Commission.
It was announced that Han will give a speech during the opening of the bridge, which together with the photo of Novi Sad will be forwarded directly to the official website of the European Commission.
The EU enlargement commissioner arrived in Belgrade last night and was welcomed by the Head of EU Delegation in Belgrade, Sam Fabrici.
