Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovia confirms that the issue of food safety is of the utmost importance, which during the recently held conference "The Future of Food – The Future of Healthy Serbia" said that it was necessary to amend the food safety law and added food safety is a complex matter, the quality and quality of life of our citizens, but we can also export them from Serbia.

Because of all this, it does not matter that it has been authorized to postpone the new 71 inspectors, which should be the first line of defense for food safety, as well as the announcement that controls at border crossing points where food enters Serbia will be particularly tightened.
Amendments to the Food Safety Act and the National Food Safety Reference Monitor will be given a "wider range of authorities" and will be equipped so that they can run any laboratory in Serbia.
We also recall that a shift to food safety took place at the end of 2015 by adopting a new Rulebook on the quality of sliced meat, semi-finished and meat products, thereby preventing the import of cheap raw materials. The new Rulebook on the quality of minced meat, semi-finished meat and meat products prescribes a new level of calcium in mechanized meat (MSM) of 0.1 percent per 100 grams of meat.
Meat-separated meat (MSM) used in the production of meat products is obtained by separating the bones from the bones after rolling or the hull or parts of the animal's carcass. MSM is produced in accordance with a special regulation for veterinary and sanitary conditions, i.e. general and special conditions for the hygiene of food of animal origin.
MSM is not unknown in the EU, where around 700,000 tonnes of such meat is produced with a value between € 400 and € 700 million.
Little is known that raw materials are obtained within the production of MSM that have been obtained according to BAADER technology and that are unique because it allows the meat and fat pressure to be separated through small holes of the face and cartilage. In this way, higher quality raw materials are produced, which are further used for the production of meat products.
Thanks to the high standards they have set, EU countries are leaders in food safety and trade in quality products, and with the desire to become a member of the EU, Serbia has committed itself to developing high quality standards and respecting standards that exist in the EU.
Food safety and quality are also exempt from authorities, consumers and food producers. That is why companies give the greatest honey to the fulfillment of strict quality, safety and food safety standards, each in terms of production. After all, the export of agricultural products from Serbia to the EU has tripled in the last nine years, so it was only € 1.3 billion in the first year and this certainly has a lot to do with the quality and safety of our products.
