YANGON – Myanmar State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi arrived Sunday in Singapore for a working visit to goodwill, at the invitation of the Singapore Prime Minister. Lee Hsien Loong.

The Singaporean Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Myanmar State Counselor will appeal to President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan.

Apart from the work-related meetings, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will also hold a lecture on Tuesday entitled "Myanmar & # 39; s Democratic Transition: Challenges and Progress".
