Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly testing whether Barcelona is willing to part with promising left back Alejandro Balde.
Thursday edition of Sport, as quoted by Sports witness, claims the Premier League duo are both impressed by the 17-year-old and ready to make their move.
Balde represented Barca in the UEFA Youth League this season. He has played four times so far and also has an assist to his credit.
According to the report, other clubs are also interested. However, Liverpool and Chelsea the teen’s representatives have already “approached” to try and lure him away.
But Balde would feel ‘comfortable’ in Catalonia and respect that Barca will ‘give continuity to his career’.
The talented fullback is expected to get his chance in the first team sooner rather than later.
Indeed, the LaLiga giants certainly see him for the future and are unwilling to part ways.
With Balde now also at home at Camp Nou, it seems unlikely that he will be convinced to continue.
