BRATISLAVA, 2 September (WebNoviny.sk) – For the six districts in Western Slovakia, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) issued a first-level warning for storms. The warning is valid from 19:00 to Monday 8:00 for the districts of Senica, Malacky, Pezinok, Bratislava, Senec and Dunajska Streda.
In these districts, the SHMU has a low risk of coastline and the chance of heavy rainfall or heavier rainfall, which could pose a potential risk to human activities.
Storms may include short but intense orbits, where the sums can reach 20-40 mm and wind speeds at 18-20 m / s (65-70 km / h). In the case of the above-mentioned storms, the temporary rise in water levels in small streams and the occurrence of flood-related phenomena outside the streams, such as water drifting from slopes, dikes, basements, underpasses, underpasses.
