At the age of 75, the Slovakian diplomat Ján Lišuch, who was also a former secretary of state for Foreign Affairs and Multi-Ambassador, died.

Later he worked in Islamabad, Brussels, Turkey, Kuwait, and he dealt with the South Asia issue as Deputy Ambassador in Delhi. Since 1988 he is head of the 6th Asian Territorial Department of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague.
