BRATISLAVA, 23 August (WebNoviny.sk) – Customs officers of the Criminal Investigation Office of the Financial Administration (KÚFS) have secured the accounting documents of suspect companies in Svidník, which do business in the agricultural sector.

These entities would deduct the value added tax (VAT) on the estimated value of EUR 500,000 for deliveries of different goods and services. This was reported by Ivana Skokanova, a spokesman for the financial administration, on Thursday, in a press release.

"Over the past few days, KUFS officials have secured the accounting documents of suspect companies in Svidník as a result of violations of customs and tax rules, and the main business activity of these companies is agriculture, for fear of destruction of accounting records. those companies withheld, " Skokan said.

According to Skokanova, critics of the financial report found that these tax entities are personally linked to one and the same manager.
