Changes in dual education

As the ministry points out, one of the most important steps that our education will continue to take in the coming period is the implementation of the national program for the development of education and training. The implementation of specific measures of the national program is being prepared by the education sector in the new school year. One of these is the change in the dual education system, which entails an amendment to the law on vocational education. It aims to improve the conditions for the entry of schools into this system, as well as other employers, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, including traders.

An important change is the shift of the deadline for students to enter the dual. After a new one, a student with an employer can conclude a learning agreement before September 15 and if the expected number of pupils is not achieved until January 31st. So far, the study contract had to be concluded before 31 August before the pupil enters the first year. The overall administration in connection with the entry of companies and schools into this system will also be substantially reduced.

Motivation will also increase in schools, which so far have surpassed the norm when adopting pupils in the doppelganger. The school thus receives the same amount of normative contribution to these pupils as the pupil outside the dual education.

"We also consider external tests of pupils from primary and secondary education as important, and they already give us a very real picture of the strengths and weaknesses of pupils and the learning process." In the future we will be able to the added value of education, which is an important factor in measuring school quality, which is why we consider it important to continue with Testing 5 (November 21), which gives us a detailed picture of the knowledge and quality of pupils in combination with testing. 9 (3 and 4 April) and the external part of the maturita examination (12-15 March) their training After the new test 9 all pupils of the 4th grammar school will participate with an 8-year training program, " explains the department.

Increase the attractiveness of the teaching profession

Priorities in the 2018/2019 school year include, according to the ministry, the provision of funding for development projects aimed at denying and increasing the effectiveness of education for pupils with a physical disability.
