A 52-year-old pedestrian from the district of Žiar nad Hronom did not survive a fall with a passenger car on the first class road in the cadastral area of Námestovo. TASR informed the spokesperson for the provincial police in Žilina, Radko Moravčík.
On the basis of the research conducted so far, it turned out that a 41-year-old driver from Nitra drove a Škoda Octavia passenger car in the direction of Námestovo to Klin.
Then there have been unforeseen causes of pedestrian crossings for the pedestrian crossing. "During the breath test, the driver did not detect any alcohol and seized a driver's license on the spot and an autopsy would be performed on a poor pedestrian," said Moravčík.
He added that material damage was provisionally estimated at 2000 euros. Other circumstances and causes of a traffic accident are the subject of an ongoing investigation.
