BRATISLAVA, ŠTRBA. Štrba's long-standing mayor and president of the Association of Cities and Municipalities of Slovakia (ZMOS) Michal Sýkora will not stand before the President of the Slovak Republic. He was called to do this by the members of the ZMOS.

"I would act as an independent candidate for the position of the President of the Slovak Republic, as I have profiled for decades, and I also believe that my life-long involvement with Slovakia and its citizens has been greatly abolished, and after careful I would like to emphasize that self-sufficiency is first for me ", said Sýkora.

According to him, the social situation in Slovakia is not easy.

"To feel the tension that does not contribute to the optimism of the population, it has influenced me considerably by my thinking." The support I received for the presidential candidate obliges me to continue the work, and the ZMOS will run for more than half a year without two vice-presidents. all tasks, including those assigned by them, will have to be addressed and their mandate will expire a few days, "he said.
