LEVI – The winner of the World Cup slalom in Levi, Finland, traditionally receives a reindeer cub in addition to ranking points and a financial bonus. Slovak skier Petra Vlhová triumphed twice over the weekend, repeating her 2017 success in the ski resort behind the Arctic Circle.
After reindeer Igor her “farm” has now grown. Finally, my first reindeer Igor is no longer alone and has two new friends. I named the first Pepi after my mental coach (Petra Hudecová) and the second Lujza after my niece. I wish them all the best in life and I can don’t wait to see when my farm gets bigger, “ Vlhová bragged on the social network Facebook.
However, Vlhová does not bring nice animals to Slovakia. Residing on a nearby farm, they can not only name and feed their new owner, but they can always visit them to see how they are doing.
