The e-sports tournament HernaZona.sk UNIZA Masters starts next Friday – SME

From December 4, 2020, the third year of a successful esports festival will take place, full of tournaments and a rich program. Lovers of computer and console games compete for an interesting financial reward, they play virtually the first weekend of December. Competitions will be moderated from the study of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Žilina in Žilina (FACT UNIZA). Individuals and teams can register on the festival website in the Tournaments section, December 1, 2020.

Two tournament days, six games and big rewards await individual players or teams who have the stamina, concentration and ability to work together. Anyone close to the gaming world can compete online. On Saturday, December 5, the CS: GO, TFT and FIFA tournament schedule will diversify players and spectators. On Sunday December 6, LOL, HearthStone and NHL card enthusiasts will have a great time. Tournaments with commentary and an attractive program will be streamed, Prizepool in all games together is more than 5300 euros (2600 euros financial reward and 2700 euros prizes in kind).

Part of HernaZona.sk UNIZA Master is on Friday 4.12. from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm Online Open Day at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Guests will learn about studying at FACT and can play CS: GO with FACT UNIZA teachers. FACT UNIZA is close to games, Multimedia Engineering students learn to design games. You can also play one of the student games – UNIZA ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, which takes place right in the university grounds.

Players and spectators will have a good time, absorbing the atmosphere of the tournament through their screens. They will also enjoy conversations with guests or players.The program includes several interesting online workshops, for example on game design, which is part of the international project GAME JAM.
