The cleaner environment and cheaper electricity

Young people around the world are aware that our attitude to the environment has crossed the sustainability line, so we need to give concrete answers to how we view climate change.

The planet will someday be left to them and no one is too small to take the first step in the fight against climate change. Swedish activist Greta Thunberg says that we do not need hope, but action. At GEN-I we strive for action.

What can we do for the environment now?

Washing, dishwashing and drying machines have cost-effective programs that require shorter operating times and lower temperatures. If you charge electricity twice, let the incandescent machine run overnight.

If you heat (and cool) your home with electricity, you reduce consumption through good insulation of walls and attics and good windows and doors.

Water heating is energy intensive, so the shower time is shortened as often as necessary.

Replace conventional light bulbs with economical bulbs and only light the bulbs where you need them.

Store refrigerated dishes in the refrigerator and freezer and set the temperature to 4-5 ° C in the refrigerator and -18 in the cupboard. Remove the ice immediately.

Is that all?

These are simple measures that are good for the environment and your budget. There are different ways to get electricity. If you choose a solar power plant, we can say with certainty that this is the only way to save energy.

At GEN-I, depending on the wishes and circumstances of your home, we prepare a plan, arrange the documentation and prepare the project in accordance with the regulations.

We also help you arrange financing and advise you on obtaining an Eco Fund grant (up to 20% of the investment value).

More than 700 correct decisions

More than 700 GEN-I solar power stations have grown in Slovenia: the owners produced 5 GWh of pure electricity and contributed to the 2.5 million kg reduction in CO2 emissions.
