A referendum is being held in Colombia to prevent corruption and also reduces the salaries of the Congress

BOGOTA, Aug. 26 (WebNoviny.sk) – A referendum is held in Colombia to curb corruption in a country where "Criminals with white collars" increasingly replace drug gangs and paramilitary groups in high-power penetration.

The referendum also refers to the reduction of the salaries of the members of the Colombian Congress and the introduction of laws that would make public finances more efficient and clearer.

Most of the population of the nation agrees that it is necessary to conduct corruption, but some believe that the referendum is not the best way to achieve this. Voices were also boycotted by judges who are afraid that I will be paid.
