ATHENSE, August 22 ( – The metropolis of Greece in Athens and the surrounding area has seen a power outage, which has probably caused a problem in the power plant south of the city where it is burning.

The fall affected the traffic lights and some parts of the subway, which led to the closure of Syntagma Station. Athenian firefighters reported that they had received roughly a hundred reports from people stuck in exits. The problems were reported throughout Athens throughout the day.
