By Monday evening it is not possible to drive trucks to Hungary



The transport of trucks is not possible for a public holiday.

Until Monday (20 August), 22:00, there is no possibility for the public holiday to cross 7.5 tonnes of goods vehicles across the territory of Hungary. It warns the regional transport inspection in Bratislava. TASR was informed by a spokesperson for the regional police headquarters in Bratislava, Michal Szeiff

The police are asking truck drivers to go to Hungary via Bratislava to stay in the nearest parking lot and to continue the road to a smooth transition from the border.
