Etna was revived and threw giant pieces of lava up to a hundred and fifty feet

ROME, Aug. 24 ( – The volcano Etna in Sicily has been revived and again blows ash and lava. The National Geophysical and Volcanological Institute (INGV) said the volcano was "Woke up" already at the end of July, but more activity began to show on Thursday evening, when the hot air of the lava, up to 150 meters, was thrown almost constantly into the air.

Friday, according to the institute's data, the volcanic activity continued and the Etna sputtered ash several hundred feet above the crater. So far they have not reported evacuations of the volcano around the fertile slopes of many farms. Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in Europe and is also a popular destination for visitors to the island in the Mediterranean.
