Terrorist organization The Islamic State (IS) published for the first time the first sound recording, spoken by the leader Abu Bakr Baghdad.
According to Baghdad's information, he calls on his followers to persevere. The press office al-Furcan, which works for the IS, has reported. Reuters reported that it was not yet possible to verify whether the record is indeed the voice of Baghdad.
In 2014, IS officers gained control over nearly half of Syria and almost a third of Iraq. Three years later, the terrorist organization has virtually all areasincluding the most important Ba'thra – Iraqi Mosul and Syrian cancer. In December last year, Iraq announced a definitive defeat of the IS on its territory, but the radicals still hide in the desert area on the border between Syria and Iraq and further bloody attacks.
It is in this area that Baghdad is now also hiding. Last June, Russia announced that the leader of the Islamic state apparently died in May during a Russian robbery in Syracuse Rakke. Later, however, he admitted that he was still following the report. In September, the US military announced that there was no doubt that Baghdad was still alive.
