PULA, August 20 (WebNoviny.sk) – A Croatian lifeboat saved a British woman who had fallen from a cruise ship and bobbed in the Adriatic for ten hours. The British, after being found, were taken to a hospital in Pula and currently have no danger to life.
The woman fell on a cruise ship Norwegian Star on Saturday before midnight, about 95 kilometers from the Croatian coast. They found her on a Sunday morning, near where she would fall.
"I fell from the back of the Norwegian star and I was in the water for ten hours, these great guys saved me" said the Brit for the Croatian state television, HRT, after a lifeboat was brought to the port. Why she fell from the ship, but she did not.
