Trot (SaS): Rushing on Red Square reminds us to return to totalitarian paths, we must ask for justification

The arrest on the Red Square in Moscow on the occasion of the protest against the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968 shows that the relations in Russia return to the old totalitarian paths after 50 years. Martin Klus, a member of the NR SR and the Sloboda and Solidarity (SaS) team for foreign policy and political system, said this.

The opposition leader remembered that the prisoners were also the nephews of dissident and poet Vadim Delone or granddaughter of Natalya Gorbanevska, also dissidents and participants of the then protest against the occupation of Czechoslovakia.

"We see these events as alarming as the activities of several of the current Russian media, which have been completely under control in recent months, and certainly with the Russian government's agreement, to overthrow history. Czechoslovak Socialist Republic again informs about the counter-revolution, knowingly lying about communist lynching and legitimizing terror and murder in Czechoslovakia, "said M. Klus.

"Together with the Czech Republic we should not view such activities in a state of rest, but demand a clear explanation of things and a justification," concludes Martin Klus.
