18-year-old shot in both legs in Uppsala Township Gottsunda

It was Monday afternoon at 4.30 pm that the passerby had shot the 18-year-old man in the open air in both legs in a residential area in the district of Gottsunda.

He was lucky One of those passers-by was a doctor who could help stop bleeding. He was good and talkative when he was taken to the Academic Hospital with an ambulance, "said Linda Winge of the police regional management center.

The police have been excluded from the site and have committed a probationary period of murder. Techniques are on track to investigate a crime scene.

"We have heard a number of witnesses and work closely together with internal teamwork," says Linda Winge.

Is there a suspected perpetrator?

"At the moment no one is being held, so I do not know how far the teamwork has been done and whether sufficient information has been obtained to have a suspected perpetrator.

The wounded man has been known to the police before and has been punished for a crime that the police do not want to specify. Sunday, a 17-year-old man is killed in the Kvarngärdet district in Uppsala. It is still unclear whether there is a connection between that event and the shooting of Monday in Gottsunda.

– It can not be excluded, but it can not be said that there is a connection. In the first instance you will work as a separate event. But you work unconditionally, "says Linda Winge.
