A passenger car drove into the stationary freight train in Gävle on Sunday evening a quarter to six. Two ambulances, emergency services and police were informed. The car landed on the wrong side of the road and drove straight through a fence and was wedged under a stationary freight train.
When the police arrived, the driver blew positively into the screening instrument and then suspected he was riding a wheel. The driver, a 50-year-old, was accompanied by an ambulance to the Gävle hospital. The injuries are not considered serious.
A report of wheelfill has been detected and at 19.30 hours the recovery was still under way.
