Xbox One has been updated with support for mouse and keyboard

After the idea of support for mouse and keyboard on the Xbox One console, Microsoft will launch the new feature on November 14th.

In the morning, the Xbox One console receives official support for computer mouse and keyboard as controller. Microsoft confirmed the date during the X018 event and also confirmed the cooperation with Razer and became the "official partner" for the new function.

Razer becomes the official partner and more or less means that Razer products appear when promoting the function. In addition, Razer products with RGB lighting can have specific lighting schemes in different game titles. However, all available computer mouse and keyboard connected to a regular USB connector must be able to use the compatible game titles. A series of wireless mice and keyboards are also supported.

The Xbox One has a relatively gigantic game library and it will be far removed from all game titles played with mouse and keyboard. Eight games will be updated tomorrow with the feature and in the future seven more titles will be updated with the support.

The games that are played from tomorrow with mouse and keyboard are:

  • Fortnite
  • Warframe
  • Bomber Crew
  • Vermintide 2
  • War Thunder
  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • X-Morph defense

Then there are the seven titles that will be updated with support for mouse and keyboard at a later date. These titles include:

  • Children of Morta
  • DayZ
  • Minion Master
  • beunhaas
  • power
  • Warface
  • Wargroove

More games can be updated with the new feature of Xbox One. However, it is up to each individual game studio to decide if the support can or should be implemented in their game on the console.
