A 78-year-old motorist hit two pedestrians on a sidewalk in Herblingen, SH, on Thursday afternoon. Both were thrown aside and badly injured.
Why the driver drove after he opened the pavement was initially unclear, according to the Schaffhausen police. The two pedestrians were on the sidewalk to the shopping center when they were hit from behind by the car of the 78-year-olds. Both were taken to the hospital.
After the collision the driver drove a few meters further. Then she stopped and drove back to the scene of the accident. She rammed the car of a man who had stopped to help. (SDA)
