Today, nine PC-7 team pilots train on the Airport of Zurich for the adventure weekend. Yesterday the training races already led Patrol Suisse up to 40 minutes late in regular air traffic. "We hope for the least possible failure today," said Jasmin Bodmer, Senior Media Spokeswoman for Zurich Airport.
The performance weekend at Zurich airport includes the appearance of Patrouille Suisse and the PC-7 team. Today, nine PC-7 aircraft fly over the airport grounds.
"The air show is a highlight in aviation," says Bodmer. But the two teams must practice. "The time window was deliberately chosen to minimize the impact on regular flight operations." During the afternoon, there is less air traffic during normal use, says Bodmer.
