Lucerne FDP appointed Council of States Damian Müller for a new term

The Luzern FDP Council of States Damian Müller is running for a new term. The deputies of his party nominated the businessman and PR expert on Wednesday evening before the autumn elections of 2019.

Müller was unanimously nominated at the party meeting in Nottwil LU, as the FDP of the Canton of Lucerne announced. The 33-year-old from Ermensee in the Seetal was elected the youngest member of the Council of States four years ago.

The second seat of the Lucerne Council seat is currently owned by the CVP politician Konrad Graber. The Commissioner and the chairman of Emmi have been members of the small chamber since 2007. He did not comment on his future political future. Members of the National and Council of States will be re-elected on 20 October 2019.
