Zürich (awp) – After returning to growth, the PKZ fashion retailer continued to grow in the first half of the year. "We have again increased by 2 percent, just like in the past fiscal year," said PKZ boss Manuela Beer in an interview with the "Tages-Anzeiger" on Saturday.
The hot summer has done its part: "We were able to sell summer clothes until August – luckily also in Zurich," said Beer.
The online business grew strongly by more than 20 percent. "In three years, the sales share must be 10 percent, but I have no claim to 30 percent," said Beer. The shopping experience in the store was and remains central. Even younger customers still want to do business.
Bier refused to cooperate with the competition on the internet: "At the moment I see no advantages in the cooperation with Zalando or similar companies, we concentrate on our strengths and we do it the way we want to be a premium platform online networking with physical stores instead of working with the competition, "said Beer.
