Crown Prince's Court in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, organized a symposium at Al Karama Oasis on the theme "Heart Attack Seeds grown in childhood" by Professor Murad Tuzko, Head of Cardiology at the Cardiovascular Institute of Cleveland Clinique Abu Dhabi.
The symposium, which coincides with World Heart Day on 29 September, was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Executive Director of the Martyrs Family Affairs Office at the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Saif Al Qubaisi, Executive Director of the Civil Affairs Department, Ali Al Rumaithi , Dr. Maha Barakat, Senior Consultant at the Executive Office of Abu Dhabi and Mubadala Investment Company, as well as senior executives at the Crown Prince's Court in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Tuzco's main factors and causes of heart attacks and their risks such as obesity, smoking, high blood pressure, complications of diabetes and how to prevent it.
He said that heart disease, including heart attacks and strokes, represent the most deadly diseases in the world, emphasizing the importance of increasing public awareness of how the risk of heart attacks can be reduced and ways of preventing them.
He pointed out the healthy dietary patterns that must be followed to preserve heart health and the effects of unhealthy food on heart safety and the relationship with heart disease, explaining that a healthy lifestyle is the only way to prevent heart disease, where everyone can reduce the risk of heart disease.
