The tax campaign, launched by the federal tax authorities, continued its direct tour of the business sectors and began its three-day tour through the Fujairah community to create tax awareness, increase the number of registered taxpayers, Tax and the payment of taxes due.
The authority launched the first phase of the "Tax Clinic" initiative in Ras Al Khaimah on 12 August and is expected to continue with the UAE for about 3 months.
Khalid Ali Al Bustani, director general of the federal tax office, confirmed that the first round of the "tax clinic" campaign had achieved good results in the first phase and witnessed a great response from the business sectors.
"Representatives of the federal tax office are present at the tax clinic in every emirate to answer questions from company representatives about registration and other tax liabilities, and to encourage VAT holders who have not registered to accelerate," he said in a press release . He added that «the tax clinic», in collaboration between the Federal Authority for Taxation and Economic Development Departments, municipalities and free zones in the UAE, is touring a team of employees of tax and tax registration and tax declaration and services in different phases, in the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Authority and its strategic partners in the public and private sector with regard to the implementation of the tax system and supervision during implementation in order to provide the best services and ensure the efficiency of the implementation of tax legislation , where they indicated to give great cooperation to the organization of the tax clinic. Coordination is still ongoing to receive the tax clinic in the rest of the UAE.
During the trip, business sectors are defined as applicants for mandatory registration, optional registration and taxable supplies on which to establish whether the work is to be registered and the obligations of registrars.
