Dubai Council announces registration for Sheikha Hind

Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has announced the opening of the sixth edition of the Sheikha Hind Women's Sports Tournament, which will be held from 16 to 30 October under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai , Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Premier and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum.

This happened during the technical workshop organized by the Committee of Women and Sport in the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of coordinators of sports activities in government and semi-government institutions, private sector companies and representatives of sports federations that participated in the session.

The Technical Committee has announced that the laws in force in the local federations will be applied in arbitration, adding all the items that have been introduced into the federations.

Registration will continue until 4 October via the official website of the Dubai Sports Council. The Organizing Committee will also be able to register the employees of government and semi-government institutions and members of the private sector.

The course includes 10 individual and group sports, including basketball, volleyball, handball, swimming, cycling, road racing, chess, badminton, bowling and table tennis.

The tournament is played in two categories: Emirati and resident categories, with the exception of bowling, where the tournament is held in singles and teams.The maximum number of players in each game will be determined according to the rules of the game.

Each team may participate in 3 different competitions, ie in a group game, two individual games or three individual games. Each team may register up to five players in each team, and also allows the registration of one player from the UAE from outside. in the group games.

The organizing committee has determined the maximum number of teams that participate in each group game, which is no more than 8 teams. If this number is exceeded, the first eight teams will be approved on the basis of the registration date.

The commission has prepared a training program with a number of workshops and specialized training for players, trainers and referees in the various sports in the coming period, aimed at members of governmental and semi-governmental agencies, departments and institutions, as well as members of the private sector.
